Shade Agents are the realization of a long-held vision: intelligent, autonomous agents that can operate independently and participate directly in the digital economy. How Shade Agents Operate

The Core Components.

Shade Agents intelligently blend on-chain verification with off-chain computation through a robust architecture.

  1. Agent (Off-Chain): This is the core logic of the Shade Agents that runs inside a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). The agent performs the complex computations, processes data, uses AI models, and can call any API to access any data verifiably.

  2. Agent Contract (On-Chain): The agent contract connects the agent to the blockchain and permits its actions. The agent contract verifies that the agent is running the correct code, is running in a trusted execution environment, and is only executing transactions it's allowed to. If the agent is verified, it gives the agent access to the Shade Agent’s multichain accounts.

This separation of concerns ensures that your agent is both powerful and secure, with all execution being verifiable by its on-chain counterpart.
