Head of Business Development

Responsibilities Include:
Manage relationships with founders and stakeholders within NEAR and outside of NEAR
Spearhead initiatives and partnerships that will aim to bring the strongest builders, investors, and market participants to NEAR
Lead due diligence on teams looking to build DeFi protocols on NEAR
Propose funding allocation amounts and lead negotiations
Maintain relationships with and ongoing support to projects building on NEAR
Communicate with founders / partners and maintain strong follow up records
Present to teams the benefits of building DeFi on NEAR
Collaborate and align internally on building out Proximity’s Business Development strategy
Work closely with Proximity members to leverage both existing and new relationships
Quarterly review update presentations to leadership team
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of working experience in a BD role or related role in crypto industry, fintech, tech or financial services
BA/BS degree or equivalent; experience with as a valuations analyst and/or research analyst a plus
Strong knowledge of web3, blockchain ecosystems, dapps and products
Strong presentation and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, positive team player
Founder / Entrepreneurial mentality
Strong analytical skills with avid attention to detail
Excited to roll up your sleeves, build and manage Proximity’s Business Development pipeline
